The scenic improv comedy world in & outside of NYC is celebrated on the weekend of July 11th-13th at ABOVE KLEPTOMANIA. It will feature groups from Toronto, Chicago, Boston, and NYC. All shows will have the teams perform individually, followed by a combined team jam off of an interview of an audience member.

OTIS is a team from Improv Olympic in Chicago, IL. They perform IO's signature performance piece, the Harold. They love you and want you to know it. You are a good person. Don't let anyone tell you any different.
Esto (NYC)
Esto is an Above Kleptomania House Team in NYC. Born in December 2002, they were the first team to be cast & perform when the theatre opened its doors. They currently perform an improv form called “split screen” under the direction of improv innovator Kevin Hines. Esto: Dan Giberman, Benj Hewitt, Adam Koppel, Rick Murphy, Mia Stendahl
Propworks (NYC)
Propworks is a co-production with Above Kleptomania & Off-Book Productions. They currently perform an improv show that uses actual items from the audience as props in the scenes they create to add another level of theatrics. DeWitt (CHI)
DeWitt hails from Chicago, Illinois. Since 2002, the ensemble has performed at venues and festivals in the US including ImprovOlympic, Frankie J’s, The Laugh Festival at ComedySportz in Chicago, and The Chris Farley Foundation benefit in St. Louis, Missouri. DeWitt blows open the traditional long-form Harold to explore a wide-range of themes, relationships and environments. Each cast member brings interesting perspectives and rich characters that seamlessly weave together to create an intelligent, engaging and hilarious experience. Firestorm is Above Kleptomania's “prime house team” (so says Time Out New York). They rocked the Saturday midnight crowd at the late Surf Reality Theatre in the Lower East Side with their long running show. They have been together for over a year performing weekly. Members of Firestorm have done a lot of things in life, ranging from buying & selling crack on St. Marks Place to performing as a major character in a musical at THE PUBLIC THEATRE.
