aim express advice

I use aim express at work and once in a while, after a few exchanges it just kind of quits on me. I still appear to be logged in, but I can't give or receive any messages.
Is it something I'm doing? Or is that just how it is?

Aim express blows. You are doing nothing wrong. It (AiM Express) is an asshole.

I use Quick BUddy which is an earlier version no frills none nada zilch. It doesn't kick me off (nearly as much).

I don't need frills, I just need my inane conversations to have sweet, sweet closure.

yeah. the same thing happens to me and another girl I know. I don't know what the problem is. I've sent in a complaint. It seems to kick me off, but doesn't inform me that i'm no longer showing up on any of my buddies IM lists. I would IM my friends and no response. Then I realized I was cut off.

I use the Quick Buddy version as well. It sucks too, but at least I'm not getting kicked off. And my friends in the office tell me I'm logged on and show up on their lists, so I know it's working.
