Hi, all!
I'm a high school senior who is attempting to start a youth improv group in partnership with a local theatre company. I've been doing improv in different forms for around five years or so, and am currently (assistant-)teaching a short-form class at my local youth theatre. I know what I'd like to do improvisation-wise, but am having some difficulty with actually accomplishing things. Ergo, I'd like to ask for some advice here! What's important in starting a group, how often to practice, how long to give until a first show, how to select a group, etc.
Also! I am unsure as to whether I would be able to find a coach, as this group would be operating with minimal funding. What can I do on that front?
Thanks for any aid!
