According to Mullaney, it's a Karaoke Spectacular

Sorry to everyone who's not going to be in New York City on Friday, March 28th, because something really big and really good is going to happen. I'm not prophesizing, but I already know that people are going to get wasted and sing Karaoke like nobody's business.

There will be drink specials, Karaoke and, I'm not sure, but I heard that there's going to be a contest for Best Singer and Most Talented Karaoke Performer. This event takes place at an awesome little restaurant on 6th street, with mood lighting and a private lounge in the back for those that want to make out. More to come, but mark it in your calendars now. All proceeds go to my wallet, and then I'm gonna give some to the UCB theatre.*

Friday, March 28th
11:30 (approx.; show up earlier if you want to eat dinner--it's good shit)
$7 at the door
Goa Bar and Restaurant
306 E. 6th Street (Between 2nd and 1st)
NYC

*I'm actually giving all of it to the theatre, but I'm gonna hold onto it all night and pretend it's mine.

No one gets to sing "American Pie"

It's just too long. Any person or persons who decides to sing "American Pie" will be immediately disqualified from the contest. It will be in the book to tempt people, but it is to your disadvantage to sing it.

Another topic from the minutes of the last meeting: Samosas. Being that this is an Indio-American restaurant, there seems to be a huge demand for samosas. So, I'm going to look into getting some of those passed around while people make out with each other.

More to come.

Tomorrow night the singing and drinking begins. Stop smoking and drink some tea to sooth your vocal folds and win the prize of "Best Singer." If you still suck, you have a chance of winning the prize for "Best Performer."

Come out, get drunk, and support the theatre.
And I told you, there may or may not be lots of making out.
