I'm Aaron Burdette, and I'm interested in directing your Spank, sketch show, or other stage show. Need a coach for a writing group? I'll do that too. Basically I want to help you hone your material and get the most out of your writing.
I'm currently a writer for the UCB weekend sketch team Stone Cold Fox, and I've written for the Maude teams Everything Rabbits and Chunk. I've contributed to The Onion and SNL's Weekend Update, and I've written for UCB's Sketch Cram and Left Handed Radio. I'm also very familiar with the Spank format (I've written and performed 3 of my own).
My focus as a director is to get the most out of YOUR idea. I'll work with you to explore your ideas as thoroughly and surprisingly as possible, while remaining within your specific voice.
