I'm an NYU film student currently enrolled in a directing class. In this class we work on scenes from movies by bring in actors and studying the scene from how it was directed.
Due time shift of this weeks class, my actors can't make it, but my grade depends on having people there to perform. So now I'm currently searching for an actor and actress to do a six page scene from "The Apartment". You don't have to memorize the script, just be mildly familiar with it. And considing the performance is this Monday, improv training is a wonderful tool here. We would need to rehearel for like an hour either late Sunday afternoon or evening or Monday anytime before the performance, depending on what time works for you. In trade I will provide beer and meals for the short rehearall.
The performance its self would be either this Monday at 2PM or 3:30PM at 721 Broadway, agian depending on what works better for you. Also the fact And it would be infront of a class of about ten other film students. As actors its a good chance to perform in front of students who are always casting people for larger projects. And furthermore, the piece won't be judged on your acting but on my direction, so anyone and everyone would be great.
