Improv Resource Center - Forums

Gee, Chris, You sure have been sweetly plugging a lot of other people's shows and birthdays this morning! Isn't there anything you'd like to plug for your own self?

Why, yes!

In 48 hours this weekend, I helped Eric Johnson, Tom Blake, Nina Covalesky, Boris Kievsky, this girl named Danielle (I’m sorry, Danielle, from Dannah Feinglass’s Level 2, but everyone who knows your last name is asleep!), Jennifer Xander, Lisa Tholin, Rachelle Christensen, Dave Johnson, Andy Parsons and Dewitt Davis make a film. The film is called “Solarium of God” and it screens tonight only, at 7:00 and 9:30, at NY Anthology Film Archives at 32 Second Avenue at 2nd Street.

It was a blast and something we’re all proud of.

Of 24 teams who made films this weekend, twelve are showing tonight and twelve tomorrow night. No film is over ten minutes long. Tickets go on sale for tonight’s shows at 6:30 for $8.00 (half price with student ID).

I know Tom, Danielle and I are not the only ones from the Improv community who got to do this this weekend. The good folks at Inkling Productions are all friends of yours as well. And who knows who else?

Please come and see what we wrought at the New York 2003 48 Hour Film Festival!

Come in person tonight and I'll tell you how great Variety Underground is going to be this week! I’ll tell you to go see Anthony King! I’ll tell you to go see Kromff and Respecto and the Documentary! I won’t shut up, I tell ya!
