Another staged reading of Eric Drysdale's "The Man With F.E.E.E.T.," a set of 3 View-Master reels with 21 photographs in eye-popping 3D, accompanied by a 12-page read-along storybook. The centerpiece of the show will be a staged reading of the adventure, which spoofs the TV-licensed viewmaster reels of the 1960s and '70s. The reading will be presented by cast members while each audience member enjoys the 3-dimensional images in ...his or her own View Master Viewer. Between each reel, some of the funny people involved in the creation of "The Man With F.E.E.E.T." will perform bits related to the primary nonsense as well as free-floating nonsense. $20 Ticket price includes a View Master Viewer and the Reel/Storybook packet for you to take home or give to a friend. (no refunds) Additional copies will be available for sale.
The reading will feature some of the stars of the reels, including Christian Finnegan, Gary Rudoren, Rob Lathan, Amber Nelson, and Anthony Atamaniuk. Narrator Ben Rameaka and Serra Hirsch and others will join them. Joel Esher will provide a quasi-improvised soundtrack. Some of those people and others will also be doing comedy. There will also be music from Elizabeth!, who will bring with her a horn section. Should be odd.
