13-year-old kids suck.

So I almost kicked this 13-year-old kid's ass today while fliering for this show in Washington Square Park.

He and his buddies were trying to rip my show postcards out of my hand. So what did I do? Did I calmly talk to them like adults? Did I ask them politely to stop? Nope! I threaten to kick their asses if they didn't stop!

So what did these kids do in response? They did what almost any 13-year-old kid would do when traveling in packs and confronted with a grumpy adult...they heightened the game!

They told people who took my cards that my show sucked. They came up and talked to me while I was trying to flier people. They ran up behind me as I extended cards out to people and ripped them out of my hands.

In other words, I didn't have a fun time fliering for this show today. But's that's O.K. Because you can make it all better by coming to my show this week -- please come, I need the comfort.

I was going to see it anyway, but reading your post has made me mad as hell.

I live on the same block as a highschool, and often have to remove 5 or 6 kids from my stoop just to enter my building every day. And they usually make fun of my hat or shirt.

I got pelted with grapes by teenagers yesterday as I was waiting for my sausage & eggs at the breakfast cart. they were all bigger than me.
